Our talented cast will be performing Wilde's classic stories for children, taken from his anthology 'The Happy Prince and Other Stories'. Think you know the story of St George? Think again! This irreverent retelling of the story of England's patron saint has it all: a fire-breathing dragon, a quick-witted princess, and a brave knight with his trusty steed!

Written and directed by Dario Knight.
It's Press Night for a brand-new show opening in the West End and it hasn't gone well. The actors have stumbled, the writer is in an ambulance and now the play's director and press agent are trying to limit the damage.
They set out on a misguided mission to win the favour of two reviewers attending the after show party: a hardened critic with a fierce reputation and a vlogger getting ready to live stream their review that night.

In 1895, Oscar Wilde sued the Marquess of Queesnbury for libel. The trial that followed would unravel Wilde's life and career, leading to a criminal case that accused him of gross indecency and practicing homosexual acts. Relive those infamous cases in this rehearsed reading of excerpts from the transcripts of each trial.
This is the final live event in our 'Wilde Words' season celebrating the wit and wisdom of Oscar Wilde.

Shakespeare’s final masterpiece is brought to vivid, magical life in this brand-new adaptation as part of the 2026 Buckinghamshire Shakespeare Festival.
Long ago, Prospero dedicated his life to the study of magic, and paid the price for his devotion. Usurped of his dukedom and banished to a remote island with his infant daughter Miranda, he vowed to have his revenge. Now, many years later, the opportunity has finally come. Summoning a storm, Prospero brings a ship carrying those who usurped him crashing to the shore, where a magical reckoning awaits…

From the antics of Falstaff in the Boar's Head Tavern to Sir Toby's drunken revels in Illyria, this raucous and lively show is a testament to how the Bard of Avon belongs to everyone (especially those who like a tipple).

One of Shakespeare's best loved plays brings love, laughter and magic to the Limelight Theatre in a brand-new adaptation as part of the 2026 Buckinghamshire Shakespeare Festival.
Lysander and Hermia are on the run. Having fled the fury of a father and a tyrant who forbid their love, the couple find themselves lost in the woods, their friends Demetrius (Hermia's state-sanctioned suitor) and Helena (Demetrius' spurned admirer) close behind.
They're not the only strangers in the forest, however. A troupe of local actors are preparing for a Royal Command performance and they - like the lost lovers - are about to fall under the spell influence of the true rulers of the ancient woodland...
