The Roadshow launched in 2026, with a one-week tour of libraries across Buckinghamshire. 10 libraries. 5 days. 1 very special project!
Each one-hour stop on the roadshow consists of two elements: an interactive 'frantic fable' in which our intrepid fablesmiths tell a story against the clock, and a half-hour writing activity designed to inspire the authors of the future!
Having launched the project as part of our 2023-2026 Rothchild Foundation grant, we're now looking at funding opportunities to take the show back on the road! If you're interested in supporting the project, email dario@queensparkarts.com

The debut roadshow was themed around stories themselves, part of the National Year of Reading. It included 'The Blank Book' - a brand new fable all about what it means to tell great stories. Writer Hannah Kennedy led the workshop activity, focusing on the building blocks of what makes a gripping tale.
Working in partnership with the Buckinghamshire Library Service, the roadshow visited ten libraries for free-to-attend performances: Amersham, Chesham, Buckingham, Aylesbury, Prices Risborough, High Wycombe, Hazlemere, Beaconsfield, Burnham & Marlow.
